Review and Convert Abandoned Checkouts

What does this do for me?

The Abandoned checkouts page lists carts shoppers left behind. You can turn any one of them into a real, editable Shopify draft order, then edit it, send an invoice, or take payment over the phone.

Before you begin

Cart conversion and outreach are available to authorized staff. Collaborator-only accounts see the list read-only.

1. Read the abandoned-checkout list

  1. Open Abandoned Cart Pro and stay on Abandoned checkouts.
  2. Review a row for the customer email or Guest checkout, the store name, the Updated time, the Total, the Items count, and the Customer status badge (Existing customer or Guest).
  3. If a cart has no email, the row notes it cannot be email-recovered and suggests converting to a draft order instead.
  4. Use the Previous and Next buttons to page through results.
The header shows the plan badge (for example Free app access) and your running Monthly conversions count against your limit.

2. Convert one checkout

  1. On the checkout row, select Convert.
  2. While the app works, the button reads Converting….
  3. On success a banner reports “Draft order #D… created successfully for CUR amount.”
The app validates the draft order price against the checkout to the cent before creating anything, and it will not create a second draft order for a cart that was already converted. When a checkout has already been converted, the banner explains it was skipped to prevent duplicates.

3. Use the converted draft order

Open the draft order in Orders → Drafts in Shopify admin. From there you can edit it, collect payment, or send it as a quote. Select Recovery link on a row to open the shopper’s abandoned checkout in a new tab.
