What does this do for me?

The Settings page can forward your recovery events to Klaviyo and, on Advanced, let your own systems receive signed webhooks and read recovery data through a public API key.

Before you begin

Klaviyo events, outbound webhooks, and the public API all require the Advanced $12.99 plan. Saving them requires the account owner.

1. Forward events to Klaviyo

  1. Open Settings and find the Klaviyo section.
  2. Enter your Klaviyo private API key (the field shows pk_...).
  3. Select Save Klaviyo key.
The banner confirms “Klaviyo private key saved.” Until a valid key is saved, no events are created.

2. Configure outbound webhooks

  1. Under Public API and outbound webhooks, enter an Outbound webhook URL (https).
  2. Select Save webhook URL.
  3. When a new secret is generated, the app shows it once. Copy it immediately; it will not be shown again.
Webhooks use at-least-once delivery. Receivers should verify the signature and deduplicate the stable shop, event, and resource identity. See the webhooks reference.

3. Rotate the public API key

  1. Select Rotate public API key.
  2. Copy the key shown once in the warning banner.
  3. To disable access, use Revoke public API key.
The public API is read-only and scoped to your store’s recovery data. Use it with Authorization: Bearer <publicApiKey>.
