Generate WhatsApp and SMS Recovery Links
What does this do for me?
After a checkout is converted to a draft order, the app can build a WhatsApp or SMS deep link containing the draft order invoice URL, so you can follow up manually. The app does not send the message on your behalf.Before you begin
WhatsApp/SMS deep links require the Pro $4.99 plan. Reachable only after the checkout has been converted to a draft order. Customer recovery consent is checked before a link is offered.1. Convert first
- On Abandoned checkouts, select Convert on a checkout that has a phone number.
- Wait for the draft order success banner.
2. Generate the link
- On the converted row, select WhatsApp/SMS. On Free, the button reads WhatsApp/SMS (Pro $4.99) and links to billing.
- The app creates the deep link and shows an Open WhatsApp message or Open SMS message button.
- Select it to open the messaging app pre-filled with the recovery link.
