Brand Recovery Emails

What does this do for me?

Custom branding applies your store’s identity to recovery emails sent through the custom-branded transport. You can set a sender name, logo, accent color, and button label, then preview exactly what customers receive.

Before you begin

Custom branding requires the Advanced $12.99 plan. Changing it requires the account owner.

1. Open the brand editor

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Brand your emails.
  3. If you are not on Advanced, the editor is hidden and an upgrade prompt appears instead.

2. Set the brand fields

Fill in:
  • From name (shown to customers)
  • Reply-to email (optional) - must be a valid email address.
  • Logo URL (https PNG or JPG) - must be an https URL.
  • Accent color (hex, e.g. #4f46e5) - a hex color value.
  • Button label
Select Save brand settings. These are display settings only; the app never asks for an email API key.

3. Preview and test

  1. Under Email preview, the app shows the rendered email with sample values.
  2. Select Refresh preview after editing to update it.
  3. To send a real sample, enter an address in Send a branded test email to and select Send test email.
Test sends are available on Advanced and are throttled, and they respect the store’s suppression list. If you navigate away with unsaved brand edits, the app warns you before leaving.
