Get started with Loyalty & Rewards

What does this do for me?

This guide walks you through installing Pcnaid Loyalty & Rewards, completing the onboarding wizard, and finishing the setup checklist so your loyalty program is live and ready for customers.

1. Install the app

  1. Open the Pcnaid Loyalty & Rewards app from the Shopify App Store or your Shopify Admin apps list.
  2. Review and approve the requested access scopes.
  3. The app opens to the Home dashboard.

2. Complete the onboarding wizard

On first visit, the dashboard shows a Set up Loyalty & Rewards modal. The wizard walks through five steps:
  1. Welcome — an introduction to what the app does.
  2. Set earning rate — configure how many points customers earn per currency spent.
  3. Create first reward — create a discount, free-shipping, or free-product reward.
  4. Add storefront widgets — enable the theme app embed so loyalty widgets appear on your storefront.
  5. Finish — review and confirm.
Select Skip for now to dismiss the modal and return later. The dashboard still shows a Finish setting up: N of M steps left warning banner.

3. Run through the checklist

The Home dashboard tracks three real-state steps:
  • Configure earning rules — go to Points Rules and set points-per-currency, rounding, and minimum order value.
  • Create a reward — go to Rewards and define at least one reward.
  • Enable the storefront widget — the app verifies this step automatically when widget telemetry confirms the theme embed is active on the storefront.
When all steps are complete, the modal, banner, and steps section disappear automatically.
