Track merge jobs

What does this do for me?

Every merge runs as a tracked job. The Jobs page shows what ran and how it ended, and a job detail page shows the orders and the step-by-step events.

Open merge history

Select Jobs in the app nav, or View jobs on the dashboard. The Merge job history table has one row per job with Job ID, Created, Status, Orders, Refund, and Error. A job that needs help shows a Needs attention link. Use Filter by status to narrow the list to All statuses, Completed, Failed, Needs attention, or In progress, then select Filter. If nothing matches, select Clear filter.

Read job status

The status badge uses plain-language labels:
  • In progress — the merge is still running.
  • Completed — the merge finished successfully.
  • Failed — the merge stopped with an error.
  • Needs attention — the job is in the recovery state and only the account owner can retry it.

Open a job

Select a Job ID to open it. The detail page shows:
  • Orders (N) — each order with its Role (Primary order or Secondary order) and when its Cancellation confirmed.
  • Events (N) — each recorded action with its Time, Event, and From state / To state.
  • Status — the current status badge. A running job shows Auto-refreshing and updates every few seconds.
  • Details — the Job ID, primary order, shop, created and completed times, and any Shipping refund.

Recover a job that needs attention

If a job needs attention, its status is Needs attention and the Status card shows a Retry recovery button. This button is available to the account owner only. Select it to resume the job from where it stopped. A Recovery retry started banner confirms the retry and the page keeps updating automatically. A merge can require owner recovery after an unresolved operation, so review the job’s status before taking further action. Pcnaid Documentation › Shopify Ecosystem › Order Merge Pro › Merchant
