Automate merges with rules
What does this do for me?
Automated rules merge matching orders for you instead of waiting for you to review each candidate. Rules require Pro. On other plans the Automations page shows a Pro plan required banner and the controls are disabled. How automations work
Pro rules are enforced server-side. The app evaluates them from Shopify order and webhook context, so you never have to enter a shop domain. A rule can match any combination of customer, normalized shipping address, required tags, sales channel, and a time window.Create or edit a rule
- Open Automations in the app nav.
- Under Rule basics, set a Rule name and leave Enabled turned on.
- Under Matching conditions, choose the conditions:
- Match the same customer
- Match normalized shipping address
- Required tags — separate multiple tags with commas.
- Time window — the number of minutes orders must fall within (defaults to 1440).
- Channel policy — Same sales channel or Any sales channel.
- Use the Shopify save bar that appears after you change a field to save. The app notes that it appears after a change.
Manage existing rules
The Configured rules card lists every saved rule with its name and an Enabled or Disabled badge. Select Disable rule or Enable rule to toggle a rule. If Shopify metaobject synchronization fails while saving, the app keeps the rule saved locally and shows a Rule saved with a warning banner asking you to try saving again.Limits and validation
- The Time window must be a positive number of minutes.
- The Channel policy must be Same sales channel or Any sales channel.
