Review B2B merge approvals

What does this do for me?

B2B approvals let staff request a company-order merge and let the store owner approve or reject it. This protects Shopify B2B orders, where the merge should be a deliberate decision. B2B approvals require Pro.

Request approval as staff

  1. On the dashboard, open a candidate that shows a B2B · [company] badge.
  2. Select Review merge, choose the Primary order, and add an optional Merge reason.
  3. Select Request owner approval.
If you are not the account owner, this is the only available action. The dashboard confirms with an Approval request ready banner and a View approval queue link. Only eligible orders belonging to one Shopify B2B company can enter this workflow. The app reloads every order and checks that the group shares one company, customer, address, and currency before creating the request.

Decide a request as the owner

  1. Open Approvals in the app nav. The Approval requests card lists requests newest first, 50 per page, with Previous / Next controls.
  2. Each row shows the status (pending, approving, approved, or rejected), the company name, the company location when shared, the orders, who requested it, and any Merge reason or Decision note.
  3. Select Review request.
  4. In the Review B2B merge request modal, add an optional Decision note, then select Approve and merge or Reject request.
Approving starts the ordinary merge workflow. The app revalidates order eligibility, inventory, payment state, and plan access before editing any Shopify order. When a merge job is created, the row links to View merge job. If starting the merge fails, the request returns to pending and the row shows a Merge did not start banner with the reason, so an approval is never reported falsely.

Statuses you will see

  • pending — waiting for the store owner.
  • approving — a decision was claimed and merge creation is in progress.
  • approved / rejected — decided, with any decision note and merge job link.
