Get started with Apex Brand & Event Mgmt

What does this do for me?

When you first open the app, Apex Brand & Event Mgmt walks you through three setup steps so you can schedule your first campaign. The Dashboard shows how many steps remain, and the setup modal guides you through them in order.

Complete the setup steps

  1. Open the app in Shopify Admin. If your store is not fully set up, the Dashboard shows a warning banner with the number of steps left, and a Set up Campaign Conductor modal opens.
  2. Choose a plan — pick the Free plan or a paid plan on the Billing page. If you are on Free, choose it explicitly so the app knows you selected a plan.
  3. Review campaign settings — open Settings and select Mark settings as reviewed to confirm you reviewed the campaign, storefront, email, workflow, and policy settings.
  4. Schedule your first campaign — create and schedule a campaign on the Create campaign screen.
Only the Shopify store owner can complete the plan and settings steps. If you are a collaborator, the Dashboard explains which steps are blocked. You can dismiss the setup modal with Skip for now. This only closes the modal — the warning banner stays until the steps are complete.

Create your first campaign

  1. From the Dashboard, select Create campaign (or Create free campaign if you have no campaigns yet).
  2. Add a Campaign name, choose shop-local Start date & time and End date & time.
  3. Search for and add at least one active product.
  4. Add an optional Discount code, then choose Save as draft or Create & schedule.
For a full walkthrough, see Create and manage a campaign.

What happens when a campaign runs?

At the start time, the app publishes the selected products, activates any discount you configured, and applies any other steps you enabled. At the end time, it unpublishes only the products it published, deactivates the discount, and restores the original theme if you scheduled a theme change. See the architecture overview for the technical details.
