Create a draft order from Quick order
What does this do for me?
Quick order turns a list of SKUs and quantities into a priced Shopify draft order and emails the invoice to the customer. Draft-order checkout is available on Growth and higher.1. Validate the rows
- Open Quick order. The Plan access section shows your current plan and row limit.
- In Validate products, enter SKUs and quantities. On the enhanced Growth grid, paste rows from a spreadsheet into any SKU cell, or type a SKU, press Enter to move to Quantity, and press Enter again to add the next row. Use the arrow keys to move between rows.
- Select Validate SKUs.
2. Create the draft order
- In Create and email a draft order, enter the Shopify customer ID (use the customer GID assigned to an active B2B company).
- Optionally add an Order note (optional), a Corporate approval ID (optional), and a Sales-rep impersonation session ID (optional).
- Select Create draft order and send invoice in the page header.
<name> created and reports whether the invoice was sent.
3. Handle an approval requirement
If the buyer requires approval or is over their purchasing limit, a banner titled Approval required appears with the approval request ID. Approve it on Corporate accounts, then return to Quick order and create the draft order again. In the same tab, your customer, note, and the two optional IDs are restored — but re-validate the grid rows, because whatever rows are present when you return are the ones used.Notes
- Every row is priced from Shopify catalog data on the server; the app does not trust client-supplied prices.
- Features not included in your current plan show the tier they require, for example Draft-order checkout is available on Growth and higher plans. You can still validate SKUs on this page.
