Use the calendar
What does this do for me?
The calendar shows your household events, bill due dates, maintenance reminders, and subscription renewals in one view.Add an event
- Open Calendar in the Planning section.
- Select Add Event or tap a date in the calendar grid.
- Enter the event title, date, time, and optional notes.
- Select Add.
Understand what you see
The calendar pulls from multiple sources:- Events — events household members create in the calendar.
- Bills — bill due dates appear as non-editable occurrences for recurring bills. Edit the source bill in Bills.
- Maintenance — recurring maintenance reminders appear as calendar items.
Sync with external calendars
- Open Settings and select the Integrations tab.
- Google Calendar: Select Connect, sign in with Google, and choose the HouseholdOS secondary calendar Google creates.
- Apple Calendar: Select Generate Feed URL, copy the ICS link, and add it to Apple Calendar as a subscribed calendar.
