Create and run playbooks
What does this do for me?
Playbooks are reusable bulk operations. Choose a type, configure the parameters, and run it manually or on a schedule. Each run creates a change set that goes through the same review and approval workflow.Supported playbook types
Vendor price adjustment
Adjust product prices for one vendor by a percentage. Use a positive number to increase prices or a negative number to decrease them. Range: -90% to +500%.Metafield backfill
Set a metafield value on products that match a query. For example, setcustom.priority to standard on all active products.
Tag governance
Add or remove a tag from products that match a query. For example, add the tagreviewed to all active products.

- Name — a descriptive name.
- Project — optionally group with related work.
- Type-specific fields (vendor, percentage, namespace, key, value, tag, action).
- Optionally configure a schedule:

2. Run a playbook
- Go to Playbooks in the sidebar.
- Find your saved playbook and select Run now.
- The playbook creates a change set with the proposed changes.
- Go to Change sets to review, approve, and execute the result.
3. Schedule a playbook
When you enable a schedule, the app runs the playbook automatically at the configured interval. Each run creates a new change set. Schedule limits per plan:4. Manage saved playbooks
