AgenticOps is a Shopify embedded app. It uses Shopify OAuth, the Shopify Admin GraphQL API, and verified webhooks. AI generation for analysis and recommendations uses the OpenAI Responses API, with an optional bring-your-own-key configuration per shop. Store state is persisted for the shop so recommendations, rollback snapshots, and audit records are durable. Before a change is applied, the app validates it in a sandboxed environment and refuses to proceed when that validation is not available.Product data flow
Supervision policies are grouped by store area — Inventory, Content and SEO, and Revenue — and guide analysis. Analysis reads store signals (products, recent orders, and discounts), then generates recommendations. Every recommendation requires human approval before any change is applied. Applying a change runs a sandboxed validation, saves a snapshot of the item’s prior state when one exists, and records the action with its rollback state. Undo claims the action before contacting Shopify and records the outcome for later review. Email delivery uses a transactional email provider; Sentry, PostHog, and Datadog are optional telemetry sinks.Approval and rollback
Mutating actions (product SEO and product-tag updates) require a pre-execution snapshot and offer rollback. Actions that create new things — discount creation and purchase-order drafts — have no prior-resource snapshot and no automatic undo. Rollback state is durable (available, in_progress, expired, or unavailable), and snapshots are pruned to a per-tier retention window.
