Terms of service

Effective September 7, 2026.

Agreement and service

These terms govern a merchant’s use of POS True Retail Operations, operated by Pcnaid Inc. Installing, approving a charge for, or using the app means the merchant accepts these terms on behalf of its business. The app provides Shopify POS price-adjustment, void, store-credit, retail-data, audit, and export tools according to the selected plan.

Merchant responsibilities

  • Keep Shopify accounts and devices secure, grant only necessary staff permissions, and review location settings and audit records.
  • Confirm that price changes, voids, store credit, tax/fiscal exports, and customer-data handling comply with the merchant’s policies and applicable law. The app does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.
  • Do not misuse the service, probe other merchants’ data, interfere with its operation, bypass plan limits, or introduce unlawful or malicious content.
  • Maintain a supported Shopify plan, internet connection, compatible Shopify POS environment, and the scopes required by enabled features.

Plans, trials, and cancellation

Prices, billing interval, included capabilities, and any trial are shown before approval on Shopify and in the app’s Plans & billing page. Eligible shops receive one 14-day trial beginning when Shopify approves the subscription; a reinstall, cancellation, or plan change does not create another trial. Shopify processes app charges. An account owner can change plans or cancel inside the app. Cancellation stops future service entitlement as reflected by Shopify; charges already incurred are handled under Shopify’s billing rules and applicable law.

Third-party services and availability

The service depends on Shopify and Cloudflare and uses the processors described in the privacy policy. Their outages, API changes, and merchant configuration can affect operation. We may maintain, secure, change, or discontinue functionality, but will not silently charge for a feature represented as unavailable. Roadmap items labelled Coming soon are not included capabilities.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without implied warranties. Pcnaid Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.

Suspension, termination, and changes

We may suspend access needed to protect merchants, the platform, or the service, or for material breach of these terms. A merchant may stop using the service and uninstall it at any time. Data deletion follows the privacy policy and Shopify compliance webhooks. Updated terms show a new effective date; continued use after notice of a material update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
