Terms of Service
1. The service
Order Merge Pro (“the app”) is provided by Pcnaid Inc. (“Pcnaid”, “we”) to Shopify merchants (“you”). The app provides tools to find compatible unfulfilled orders, move secondary-order line items to a primary order through Shopify’s order-edit workflow, cancel secondary orders, issue plan-gated shipping refunds, record merge history, run automated rules, and offer a signed customer merge portal. You must have an active Shopify store and authority to install and configure the app.
2. Plans, billing, and trial eligibility
The Free plan costs $0 and includes up to 30 manual same-day merges per calendar month. Basic costs $7.99 every 30 days or $79.90 annually and includes unlimited manual merges, automatic refunds of redundant secondary-order shipping, partial-payment reconciliation, and merchant-facing audit logs. Pro costs $14.99 every 30 days or $149.90 annually and adds automated merge rules, the customer self-service portal, cross-location conflict resolution, channel-aware policy, a public merge API, and outbound webhooks.
Basic and Pro each offer a shop with no recorded prior trial a 14-day introductory trial. Trial eligibility is one time for the shop across the paid plans while the app retains that shop’s trial history. After Shopify confirms an active trial, the app records its first start time in a separate shop trial-history row. The row survives cancellation and uninstall. It also survives a later reinstall, so ordinary cancellation, plan changes, uninstall, or reinstall do not provide another trial. Shopify’s mandatory shop/redact privacy erasure deletes the trial-history row. If the shop later reinstalls after that erasure, the missing history means it may be eligible for another 14-day trial.
Paid subscriptions are recurring app charges created through Shopify’s Billing API at the price and monthly or annual cadence shown before approval. Shopify hosts the charge confirmation. Paid plan changes use Shopify’s standard subscription replacement behavior. Selecting Free from the app’s Billing page cancels every active app subscription returned by Shopify and records the Free plan. Shopify controls charge collection and billing outcomes under its billing rules.
3. Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for deciding which orders may be merged; reviewing customer, shipping-address, currency, inventory, fulfillment, price, tax, discount, and payment consequences; configuring automation rules carefully; communicating order changes and refunds to customers; and complying with applicable commerce, privacy, tax, refund, and consumer-protection requirements. You must not place secrets or unnecessary personal data in merge notes or rule names, and must not use the app for deceptive, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized activity.
4. Merge results and records
The app applies the Shopify data and merchant configuration available when a job runs, but you remain responsible for reviewing merge candidates and resolving customer disputes. For an entitled partially paid merge, the app carries the secondary orders’ outstanding balance onto the primary order, verifies the resulting total, and refuses to cancel a secondary when that carry cannot be verified. Shopify may send the customer an updated-order invoice for the carried balance. Network, Shopify API, inventory, fulfillment, payment, or webhook conditions can delay or prevent a merge. The app uses staged validation and tracked job states, but no automated process can eliminate every operational or configuration error.
5. Data and privacy
customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact flows. Merchants are responsible for their own customer-facing privacy notices and for initiating Shopify privacy requests when appropriate.6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with Shopify requirements or law, or improve the service. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app by selecting Free where applicable, cancelling a paid plan, and uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, or violation of Shopify’s policies. The Privacy Policy describes what the implemented uninstall and later Shopify redaction handlers delete and retain.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without implied warranties, and Pcnaid Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or lost profits arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
