Terms of Service
Last updated: September 26, 2026
1. The service
Pcnaid Loyalty & Rewards (“the app”) is provided by Pcnaid Inc. (“Pcnaid”, “we”) to Shopify merchants (“you”). The app provides tools for points, rewards, referrals, VIP tiers, campaigns, discounts, store credit, memberships, notifications, fraud review, and loyalty reporting. You must have an active Shopify store and authority to install and configure the app.
2. Plans, billing, and the one-time trial
The Free plan has no subscription charge. Self-serve Growth, Pro, and Scale subscriptions are billed through Shopify’s Billing API at the price and cadence shown before you approve the charge. Enterprise is a contact-based plan and is not created through the self-serve billing action.
Growth, Pro, and Scale offer an eligible shop a 14-day introductory trial. Trial eligibility is one time ever for the shop: the app keeps a monotonic trial-history record keyed by the shop’s canonical *.myshopify.com domain. The first trial’s start time and Shopify subscription identity are immutable history, the record survives cancellation and uninstall, and later subscriptions receive zero additional trial days. This is a lifetime shop-identity gate, not a limit based on concurrent subscriptions, sessions, or users. The history is deleted when Shopify sends the shop-redaction privacy webhook after the app has recorded the authenticated uninstall signal; an ambiguous legacy request is deferred for reconciliation rather than inferred from session absence.
You can change plans or cancel a self-serve paid subscription from the Billing page. Cancellation is sent to Shopify with immediate proration enabled and the app verifies the resulting Shopify billing state before treating the shop as Free. Shopify controls charge collection, credits, and refunds under its billing rules.
3. Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for your loyalty-program rules, reward economics, customer-facing disclosures, communication consent, applicable expiration and consumer-protection rules, and lawful use of Shopify customer and order data. You must keep your store contact and billing details current and must not use the app for deceptive, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized activity.
4. Rewards and customer balances
The app applies the configuration and event data available to it, but you remain responsible for resolving customer disputes and honoring the loyalty terms you present. You should review earning rules, redemption values, campaign dates, tier thresholds, store-credit settings, and communication templates before enabling them. Service results can be delayed or affected by Shopify, payment, messaging, or network availability.
5. Data and privacy
The Privacy Policy describes the data the app processes, the Shopify scopes it requests, service providers, retention, and the implemented customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact flows. You are the controller for loyalty-program data and are responsible for responding to your customers’ privacy requests.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with Shopify requirements or law, or improve the service. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app by cancelling a paid plan and uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, or violation of Shopify’s policies. Uninstall cleanup and Shopify privacy-webhook deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without implied warranties, and Pcnaid Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or lost profits arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
