# Upload Compliance Records

## What does this do for me?

The Drive stores a file once and files it under the selected location and record type. Invoices and receipts enter the OCR intake pipeline automatically.

## Upload a file

1. Open **Drive** in the member portal. For a checklist image, you can instead open the store's **Compliance** tab.
2. Choose the Drive section that describes the file.
3. Choose the location the record belongs to.
4. Select or drag in the file.
5. Choose **Upload file** and wait for the result shown below the button.

Available sections cover notices, forms, COAs, invoices, receipts, compliance images, certificates, permits, agreements, and other records.

## Supported files and limits

The upload route accepts PDF, Word, Excel, plain-text, CSV, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, GIF, and TIFF files. A file must not be empty or larger than 50 MB. The upload also fails if it exceeds the organization's storage quota or if the selected location is not managed by the signed-in organization.

## What happens next

The Drive lists recent files with their section, size, source-or-shortcut status, and view or download action. Invoices and receipts report whether OCR was queued. Files that do not require OCR are still stored in their selected section.

> [!NOTE]
>
> TexasVerified does not promise that damaged or ambiguous inventory data will be silently corrected. The repository's separate offline inventory-import verification quarantines identity collisions instead of merging them; it is an engineering workflow, not a member-portal upload screen.
