# Settings and Billing

## What does this do for me?

**Settings** is where you manage public page fields, team members, notification preferences, billing, and storage allocations.

## Open Settings

Select **Settings** in the member portal sidebar.

### Organization

The **Organization** section shows your legal name, DBA, and tier. Owners and administrators can update the legal entity name and DBA.

### Storage allocations

Storage quotas per plan are displayed here. The page shows used and total bytes.

### Team management

The **Team** section lists current members. Owners can invite new staff members by email. Each invite creates an Auth0 account and sends a password-change link. Owners can also remove team members.

### Billing

The **Billing** card shows your current plan and payment status. TexasVerified supports these states:

* **Active** — subscription is current.
* **Trialing** — the free trial period is active.
* **Past due** — a payment failed and the subscription is in retry.
* **Action required** — a payment requires customer authentication.
* **Paid** / **Failed/retrying** — Stripe invoice outcomes appear in the billing history.

Choose **Manage billing** to update your payment method or review invoices.

### Apple Wallet pass design

If your plan includes Apple Wallet passes, customize the pass appearance — layout and palette — from Settings. Changes trigger a push update to registered devices.

### Public page editor

Edit the public-facing member page fields for each location. The public page is visible at `/m/[certificateNumber]`.

### Notification preferences

Set default preferences for **Email**, **SMS**, and **In-app** notifications. The defaults are email and in-app enabled, SMS disabled.

## Team invite flow

When you invite a team member, TexasVerified creates the Auth0 account and sends a password-change ticket. The new member receives a link to set their password and sign in. Only **retailer\_owner** or platform **admin** roles can invite or remove team members.
