# Partner Documentation

Pcnaid partners with digital agencies, e-commerce systems integrators, and commerce platform developers to extend Apple Pay® acceptance to merchants on locked-down e-commerce systems.

## Agency operating model

Agencies managing client storefronts on Shopify (live today; Wix, Squarespace and BigCommerce connectors are on the roadmap) can integrate Apple Pay on their clients' behalf:

| **Managed Client Accounts** | Agency configures client accounts under Pcnaid Lifecycle Manager with Admin or Analyst seats. | Merchant dashboard at `https://lifecyclemanager.app`. |
| **White-Glove Setup (\$500)** | Dedicated onboarding screenshare where Pcnaid integration engineers assist with Stripe Connect KYC, DNS CNAME provisioning, and verification testing. | Managed onboarding add-on. |
| **Headless / Custom SDK** | Agencies building custom storefronts utilize the `@pcnaid/applepay-managed` npm package to connect directly to the Pcnaid edge checkout. | Node.js / TypeScript SDK. |

## Open UCP specification stewardship

Pcnaid is the official custodian of the **Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP)** Apple Pay payment handler specification:

* **Handler Identifier**: `com.pcnaid.applepay`
* **License**: Apache-2.0 open standard
* **Specification URL**: `https://lifecycle.pcnaid.com/apple-pay` (and `ucp.pcnaid.com`)
* **Self-Hosted SDK**: `@pcnaid/applepay-handler` on npm for engineering teams running proprietary PSP infrastructure.
