Agencies managing client storefronts on Shopify (live today; Wix, Squarespace and BigCommerce connectors are on the roadmap) can integrate Apple Pay on their clients’ behalf:

Open UCP specification stewardship

Pcnaid is the official custodian of the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) Apple Pay payment handler specification:
  • Handler Identifier: com.pcnaid.applepay
  • License: Apache-2.0 open standard
  • Specification URL: https://lifecycle.pcnaid.com/apple-pay (and ucp.pcnaid.com)
  • Self-Hosted SDK: @pcnaid/applepay-handler on npm for engineering teams running proprietary PSP infrastructure.

Commercial partnership terms

Status of Formal Reseller & Affiliate Programs: In accordance with Pcnaid Documentation Network architecture standards, commercial affiliate programs, revenue share commissions, and formal co-marketing agreements are currently pending corporate review and are not yet documented in v1.
