> ⚠️ **DRAFT DOCUMENT — PENDING FINAL CORPORATE COUNSEL REVIEW**

**Last Updated:** October 26, 2026 • **Version:** 1.0-draft\
**Canonical Reference:** `https://lifecycle.pcnaid.com/apple-pay/legal/refunds`

## 1. Overview & Two-Tier Structure

This policy addresses two distinct refund and dispute categories: (a) Merchant subscription fees paid to Pcnaid for software access; and (b) End-consumer transaction refunds and chargebacks processed on Merchant storefronts.

## 2. Merchant SaaS Subscription Refunds

Subscription fees for Pcnaid Lifecycle Manager (Starter at $49/mo, Pro at $99/mo) are billed monthly in advance and are generally non-refundable once an active billing cycle has begun.

* **White-Glove Onboarding**: The optional \$500 one-time white-glove onboarding fee is subject to refund terms that are pending counsel review.
* **Cancellation**: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard settings. Cancellation takes effect at the conclusion of the current monthly billing period with no penalty fees.

## 3. End-Consumer Transaction Refunds

Refunds for retail goods or services purchased by end-consumers using Apple Pay on Merchant storefronts are managed by Merchant:

* **Execution**: Merchant may initiate full or partial refunds directly from the Pcnaid Lifecycle Manager dashboard or through their native e-commerce admin (Shopify).
* **Processing**: Refunds are processed by Stripe Connect back to the consumer's original Apple Pay payment method (Device Account Number).
* **Application Fees**: When a transaction is refunded, Stripe's card processing fees and Pcnaid's platform application fee policies mirror standard payment network conventions.

## 4. Chargebacks & Dispute Management

In the event an end-consumer files a payment dispute with their issuing bank:

* **Dispute Notifications**: Active disputes appear immediately in the merchant dashboard with response deadline countdown timers.
* **Evidence Submission**: Merchant may submit receipts, fulfillment tracking, and customer correspondence directly through the integrated dispute management portal.
* **Biometric Protection**: Disputes alleging unauthorized fraud are evaluated against Apple Pay biometric liability shift records provided by the card network.
