# Business Profile Management

> How to view and update your legal business name, tax identifier, contact information, and physical address.

# Business Profile Management

Your merchant profile contains the legal entity information, tax identifiers, and physical mailing address associated with your Apple Pay Payment Service Provider registration and Stripe Connect merchant identity.

You can inspect your profile at any time by navigating to **Profile** (`/profile`) in the merchant dashboard at `https://lifecyclemanager.app`.

## Profile attributes

| Field | Description | Constraints |

| **Business Name** | Legal registered name of your company or DBA. | Max 255 characters. |
| **Tax ID** | Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) or business tax registration number. | Max 50 characters (e.g., `12-3456789`). |
| **Contact Name** | Primary authorized account representative or business owner. | Max 255 characters. |
| **Contact Phone** | Direct telephone contact for compliance and operational notices. | Max 50 characters (E.164 international format recommended). |
| **Address Line 1** | Primary street address of your corporate headquarters or physical shop. | Max 255 characters. |
| **Address Line 2** | Suite, unit, or floor number (optional). | Max 255 characters. |
| **City** | City or municipality. | Max 255 characters. |
| **State / Region** | State, province, or territory. | Max 255 characters. |
| **Postal Code** | Postal ZIP code. | Max 50 characters. |
| **Country** | Two-letter ISO-3166-1 alpha-2 country code (e.g., `US`, `CA`, `GB`). | Exactly 2 uppercase letters. |

## Updating business details

To update your business profile:

1. Open **Settings** (`/settings`) from the left navigation sidebar.
2. In the **Business profile** form, enter the revised values for your business name, tax identifier, or address lines.
3. Click **Save profile**.
4. The dashboard validates each input and persists the changes through the Control Plane route `PATCH /applepay-lifecycle/v1/merchants/me`. A confirmation toast ("Business profile saved") confirms successful synchronization.

> **Data Integrity & Availability**:
> Per the Pcnaid Data Availability Standard, the profile screen directly reads live records from the Control Plane database. If any individual attribute has not yet been submitted or is temporarily unavailable, the interface displays an honest "Not provided" or "Unavailable" notice without fabricating synthetic placeholder records.
