# Use HouseholdOS

# Use HouseholdOS

## What does this do for me?

HouseholdOS gives a household one place to organize schedules, tasks, money, home items, records, and member access. Information is stored for the selected household, and the household switcher changes which household you are working in.

## Start here

> **[Set up your household](https://docs.pcnaid.com/nodes/web-apps/householdos/merchant/guides/getting-started.md)**
>
> Sign in, name the household, choose its time zone, and add the first members.

> **[Track a bill](https://docs.pcnaid.com/nodes/web-apps/householdos/merchant/guides/track-bills.md)**
>
> Add a bill, mark it paid, and let a recurring bill advance its due date.

> **[Invite a member](https://docs.pcnaid.com/nodes/web-apps/householdos/merchant/guides/invite-members.md)**
>
> Create an email invitation or a shareable invitation link.

## Sign-in behavior

The signed-out screen offers **Sign in** and **Create account**. Both use Auth0 Universal Login. A signed-in user with no household is shown the setup wizard.
