# EntityShield partner access

# EntityShield partner access

EntityShield does not expose a separate commercial-partner console in the verified application code. External consultants and collaborators can engage with a customer's records through the same invitation and membership controls used for entity and location workspaces.

## Join a workspace

1. The customer's authorized user opens **Team** and creates an entity-portal or location-portal invitation.
2. The inviter selects the entity or location workspace, enters the invitee's email address, and chooses a workspace role.
3. EntityShield creates a shareable invitation link.
4. Open the link and authenticate with the email address that received the invitation.
5. After acceptance, the workspace portal grants access according to the active membership, role, and enabled modules.

The invitation picker offers Workspace Owner, Workspace Manager, Workspace Staff, and Regional Manager. Entity Executive exists in the membership model but is intentionally excluded from the invitation picker and is assigned through a different entity-people workflow.

Governance participation uses a separate governance invitation and entity-scoped membership flow. Its portal has a dedicated invitation-acceptance route outside the normal active-membership gate.
