# Track governance filings

> Record annual reports, franchise tax filings, registered agent renewals, and other governance deadlines.

# Track governance filings

## What does this do for me?

The filings page lets you record and track governance filings such as annual reports, franchise tax payments, registered agent renewals, and charitable registrations. Each filing links to an entity and shows due dates and compliance status.

## Open filings

1. Sign in at `entityshield.app`.
2. Select **Filings** in the sidebar.

## Add a filing

1. Select **Add Filing**.
2. Choose the entity this filing belongs to.
3. Choose the filing type (annual report, franchise tax, registered agent renewal, charitable registration, or other).
4. Enter the due date, status, and any filing number or confirmation.
5. Select **Create**.

## View or update a filing

Select a filing from the list to open its detail view. Change any field and select **Update**.

## Filter and search

The filings list supports search by entity name and filtering by status or filing type. Use the search bar or the filter dropdowns to narrow the list.
