# Manage billing and plan

# Manage billing and plan

## What does this do for me?

The billing page shows your current plan, subscription status, invoices, usage against plan limits, and plan options.

## Open billing

1. Sign in at `entityshield.app`.
2. Select **Billing** in the sidebar. This page is available to users with billing access permissions.

## Billing tabs

The billing page has four tabs:

* **Overview** — shows your current plan name, subscription status, next invoice date, and whether the plan renews or cancels.
* **Invoices** — lists all past invoices with amounts, status, and links to view or download PDFs.
* **Usage** — shows how many entities, locations, users, and AI actions you are using compared to your plan limits.
* **Plan** — shows available plans and lets you select a new one. The page redirects to a Stripe checkout or billing portal.

## Plan tiers

EntityShield uses per-entity pricing:

| Plan | Price |
| - | - |
| Free | \$0 |
| Starter | \$39.95 per entity per month |
| Professional | \$79.95 per entity per month |
| Business | \$149.95 per entity per month |
| Firm | \$299 (volume or tiered pricing) |

## Switch plans

1. Select the **Plan** tab to see available plans.
2. Select **Upgrade** or **Downgrade** next to a plan.
3. Follow the Stripe checkout flow to confirm the change.

## Manage subscription from Overview

Select **Manage Subscription** on the overview tab to open the Stripe Customer Portal. There you can update your payment method or cancel the subscription.
