# Terms of Service

**Last updated:** January 2027 · Operated by Pcnaid Inc.

## 1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of DelegatedSSL (the "Service"), operated by Pcnaid Inc. ("Pcnaid," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an organization, starting a trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the agency or company you represent.

## 2. What the Service does — and does not do

DelegatedSSL helps you delegate domain-control validation for SSL/TLS certificates using a single DNS CNAME record per domain, and automates certificate issuance and renewal from that point forward through Cloudflare for SaaS.

The Service does not act as a content delivery network, reverse proxy, or web application firewall, and it does not route or inspect your or your clients' website traffic. It also does not require, request, or store DNS provider login credentials for you or your clients — only the single delegated CNAME record is needed.

## 3. Accounts, organizations, and roles

Access is organized around an "organization." The organization Owner is responsible for billing and for who is invited, and can assign the Admin, Operator, or Read-only role to each team member. You are responsible for the activity of everyone you invite into your organization, and for keeping your login credentials secure.

## 4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. The Agency plan includes a 14-day free trial; no payment method is required to start one. If you continue past the trial, you will be asked to add a payment method before your next billing period begins.

You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law.

Published plan limits (for example, domain counts and team seats) reflect the plans available at the time these Terms were last updated. Contact sales for arrangements outside the published plans.

## 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) send verification links to domains or individuals without a legitimate business relationship or authorization to request DNS changes; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limiting or abuse public verification or API endpoints; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization's data; or (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

## 6. Client verification links

Verification links you send to your clients are white-labeled and do not require the recipient to create a DelegatedSSL account. You are responsible for who you send verification links to and for the accuracy of the DNS instructions your clients are asked to follow.

## 7. Certificates and third-party dependencies

Certificate validation and issuance depend on DNS propagation and on third-party infrastructure, including Cloudflare for SaaS and the issuing Certificate Authority. We do not guarantee a specific issuance or renewal time, and we are not responsible for delays caused by your or your client's DNS provider, registrar, or existing DNS records (including CAA records that restrict issuance).

## 8. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

## 9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or activity that risks the security or integrity of the Service or other organizations' data.

## 10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pcnaid Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including certificate issuance delays or DNS misconfiguration outside our control.

## 11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

## 12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Pcnaid Inc.'s place of registration, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where local law requires otherwise.

## 13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to **[legal@delegatedssl.com](mailto:legal@delegatedssl.com)**.
