# Terms of service

These terms govern a merchant's use of TeamCopilot. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms and Shopify's applicable platform terms.

## Service scope

TeamCopilot provides scheduling, time-clock integrity, checklist, exception, and commission-summary tools. It is not a payroll, legal, tax, or employment-compliance service. Merchants remain responsible for reviewing outputs and complying with workplace, notice, consent, wage, and privacy laws.

## Accounts and acceptable use

Merchants must protect access credentials, grant only appropriate staff access, maintain accurate data, and not misuse the service or attempt to bypass security or tenant boundaries.

## Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans, trial length, and recurring charges are shown before Shopify confirms a subscription. Shopify administers charges. A merchant may cancel through the app or Shopify; access to paid actions ends when the subscription is no longer active.

## Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential damages are excluded and aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the prior three months.
