# Get started with TeamCopilot

# Get started with TeamCopilot

## What does this do for me?

TeamCopilot helps you manage POS staff schedules, time-clock entries, checklists, and commission summaries from inside Shopify admin.

## 1. Install TeamCopilot from the Shopify App Store

Install the app and complete the Shopify OAuth flow. After installation, TeamCopilot requests **read\_orders** and **read\_locations** scopes.

## 2. Complete the setup steps

After installation, the Dashboard shows a warning banner that says **Finish setting up: N of M steps left** and a modal titled **Set up TeamCopilot**. The banner's **Show steps** button reveals 4 required steps:

1. **Choose a plan** — Start the 14-day free trial. The billing page shows **TeamCopilot Standard** ($10/month, up to 10 active team members) and **TeamCopilot Growth** ($50/month, up to 50 active team members). You can also select **Skip for now** in the setup modal to defer billing setup.
2. **Sync a location** — Import Shopify locations or add one manually. You need at least one active location.
3. **Add your first team member** — Enter a name, role, and PIN (4-8 digits). Schedules, time entries, checklists, and commissions need at least one team member.
4. **Create a reusable shift template** — Templates make scheduling and AI suggestions immediately useful.

Select **Continue** next to each step to navigate to the right page. Once all steps are done, the banner and modal disappear.

## 3. Navigate the app

The sidebar navigation links are: **Dashboard**, **Schedule**, **Team**, **Checklists**, **Commissions**, **Billing**, and **Settings**. Every page shows your store domain and current plan badge at the top.
