# Add the SwiftPage Renderer Block

> Add the theme app block to your page template so SwiftPage landing pages render on your storefront.

# Add the SwiftPage Renderer Block

## What does this do for me?

SwiftPage pages render through the **SwiftPage Renderer** theme app block. Adding it once to your page template lets every SwiftPage page display on your storefront. When you uninstall the app, the block is removed with it.

## 1. Open theme setup

1. In the app, open **Settings**.
2. Find the **Theme setup** section. It reports your current theme extension status.

## 2. Add the block

1. Select **Add SwiftPage Renderer to current theme** to open your theme editor at the right place.
2. In the theme editor, add the **SwiftPage Renderer** block under **Apps** to a **page** template.
3. Save the theme.

Once the block is active on your published theme, the theme setup status reports success and the button changes to **Open theme editor**.

## 3. Theme compatibility

* **Online Store 2.0 themes:** page templates that use JSON (for example `page.json`) fully support adding, reordering, and removing app blocks.
* **Vintage themes:** legacy `.liquid` page templates do not support app blocks. Use an Online Store 2.0 theme to place the renderer.

## 4. Remove or reorder the block

* Reorder the block by dragging it by its handle (**⋮⋮**) in the theme editor.
* Remove the block by selecting it and removing it. Uninstalling the app also cleans up the block completely.

The SwiftPage Renderer block has no settings of its own. All section layouts, styling, responsive rules, and experiments are managed inside the SwiftPage editor and stored on the page.

## If the status is unavailable

When the app cannot read your theme status, step 1 on **Home** offers **I've added it** instead. Selecting it records your confirmation so the setup step counts as done.
