# Getting started with Pcnaid Safe Bulk

# Getting started with Pcnaid Safe Bulk

## What does this do for me?

Pcnaid Safe Bulk turns catalog changes into a governed workflow. You can import a product CSV, inspect what will change, collect approvals, apply the changes through Shopify, and roll back if needed.

## 1. Install the app

1. Open **Pcnaid Safe Bulk** in the Shopify App Store and select **Add app**.
2. Review the access scopes (**read\_products**, **write\_products**) and select **Install**.

Installation creates a starter project called **Getting started** with two disabled example playbooks: a tag governance playbook and a metafield backfill playbook. It does not change your catalog.

## 2. Complete the setup

1. Open the app in your Shopify admin. You will see a **Setup** page.
2. If installation already seeded the workspace, select **Claim admin access** to claim the first administrator role. If the page instead shows **Create workspace**, select it to seed the starter workspace and claim the role.
3. After the workspace is ready, choose a plan or verify developer access before starting paid bulk operations.

The first staff member to complete the workspace automatically becomes the administrator. Other staff members require a role assignment from an admin.

## 3. Understand the navigation

The app's sidebar provides these sections:

* **Dashboard** — activity overview with change-set, approval, job, and risk metrics.
* **Setup** — workspace status and billing setup.
* **Projects** — organize related imports and playbooks.
* **CSV import** — upload a product CSV to create a reviewable change set.
* **Change sets** — find, review, approve, and execute or roll back change sets.
* **Playbooks** — create reusable vendor-price, metafield, or tag-governance workflows.
* **Settings** — team roles, billing, jobs, and privacy exports.
