# Use the operations tools

> Record inventory counts, calculate weighted sales, and export audit and fiscal files from the operations tools page.

# Use the operations tools

## What does this do for me?

The operations tools page collects the per-staff inventory write and its recent history, the weighted-price (sell by weight) calculator, and the file exports. These capabilities are Professional and Enterprise.

## 1. Open operations tools

Open the app's **Operations tools** page.

## 2. Record an inventory count

1. Enter the **variant ID**, and the **SKU**, **quantity before**, **quantity after**, and **reason**.
2. Save the count. The recent history list refreshes after a successful write.
3. If the write fails, a manual retry is available and the same record is not written twice.

## 3. Calculate a weighted sale

Enter the **SKU** and **unit** (kg, lb, oz, or g), the **unit price**, an optional **tare weight**, and the **gross weight**. The calculator returns the subtotal. A non-positive gross weight or unit price is reported on that field, and a tare weight at or above the gross weight is reported on the tare field.

## 4. Export files

* **Inventory history** downloads from the inventory export action (Professional).
* **Audit export** downloads on the Professional plan; the accounting-ready CSV version requires Enterprise.
* **Fiscal export** produces an EU fiscal file for the TSE, RKSV, or DSFinV-K provider. Fiscal export is an Enterprise capability.

CSV fields are quoted and formula-leading text is neutralised before download.
