# Manage the storefront widget

> Enable the theme app embed, customize the loyalty widget, and add popups to your storefront.

# Manage the storefront widget

## What does this do for me?

The storefront widget displays loyalty content — points balances, referrals, rewards, the loyalty hub, popups, memberships, and more — directly on your Shopify theme. It consists of 10 Liquid blocks that merchants add to their theme.

The widget setup steps below apply to all plans. Custom branding and popup creation require the **Growth** plan or higher.

## 1. Open storefront setup

1. In the app sidebar, select **Home**.
2. Under **Quick Actions**, find **Setup Wizard** and select **Start Setup**.
3. Continue to **Add storefront widgets**.
4. Choose a **Theme**, then choose a **Widget or app embed**.
5. Select the add or activate action for your choice to open the Shopify theme editor.

The app needs the `read_themes` scope to list your store's themes so you can select which theme receives the loyalty blocks.

## 2. Add widget blocks to your theme

The theme extension provides these blocks:

* **Points Display** — shows the customer's current point balance.
* **Referral Widget** — displays the customer's referral link and code.
* **Cart Rewards** — shows available rewards during checkout.
* **Loyalty Hub** — the full-page loyalty hub with points, tiers, rewards, and referrals.
* **Popup** — on-site loyalty modals with trigger options.
* **Memberships** — paid membership enrollment and status.
* **Households** — family wallet grouping.
* **B2B** — company account loyalty information.
* **Social Rewards** — social media follow/share reward prompts.
* **Birthday Collection** — birthday date input widget.

## 3. Customize widget appearance

1. In the app sidebar, select **Settings**.
2. In the **Branding** card, select **Configure branding**.
3. Customize the colors, logo, typography, or CSS to match your brand.
4. Select **Save Theme**.

## 4. Create a popup

1. In the app sidebar, select **Referrals**, then select **Popups** in the section navigation.
2. Select **Create Popup**.
3. Complete the popup details and select **Create Popup**.

## 5. Verify the widget is live

The app checks widget telemetry to confirm the embed is active on the storefront. The Home dashboard shows this step as complete when confirmed.
