# Terms of service

These terms govern a merchant's use of Customer Gate. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms on behalf of its business.

## The service

Customer Gate provides customer application, eligibility, approval, entitlement, and access-control workflows integrated with Shopify.

Merchants remain responsible for reviewing their rules, decisions, storefront notices, tax treatment, and compliance obligations. The service is not legal, tax, or identity-verification advice.

## Merchant responsibilities

Merchants must use the app lawfully, obtain required notices and consents, limit staff and form-key access, keep Shopify and contact information current, and avoid unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or security-disrupting content. Merchants must review automated recommendations before relying on decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

## Plans and billing

Plan prices, trial terms, and limits are provided by the app's configured plans. Subscriptions and plan changes use Shopify approval, and cancellation is submitted to Shopify from the app.

## Availability and changes

We may maintain or change the service to improve reliability, security, or platform compatibility. We may suspend access to prevent harm, respond to legal requirements, or address non-payment or material misuse. Merchants may stop using the service and cancel through the app.

## Warranty and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Neither party excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Pcnaid Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for merchant-configured decisions, and aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the previous twelve months.
