# Review applications

> Review submitted applications, download supporting documents, and approve, deny, request revision, or run an AI review.

# Review applications

## What does this do for me?

The **Submissions** page lists every application your published forms collect. From each submission's detail view you approve, deny, request revision, run an AI review, and download supporting documents.

## 1. Open Submissions

Open **Submissions** in the Customer Gate navigation. The table lists each application's **Email**, **Form**, **Status**, **Risk**, **Submitted** time, and an **Open** action. Use the **Previous** and **Next** buttons to page through results.

## 2. Open an application

Select **Review application** on a row to open its details. The detail view shows the applicant's email, a status badge, a risk score, the submitted answers, automated **Checks**, and any uploaded **Documents**.

## 3. Decide on the application

From the detail view:

* **Approve** applies its configured Shopify actions immediately. Confirm in the dialog.
* **Deny application** notifies the applicant that they were not approved.
* **Request revision** opens a dialog where you enter a **Revision message** that is sent to the applicant.

## 4. Run an AI review

Select **Review with AI** to generate an AI-assisted review summary. The output is marked as AI-generated; check it before making a decision. AI review depends on AI service configuration — the app shows a message when the service is unavailable.

## 5. Review supporting documents

Under **Documents**, each attached file shows its **Type**, **File**, and **Status**. Select **Download** to download the stored file for review. Documents are limited to signature-verified PDF, PNG, or JPEG content up to 10 MiB.
