# Manage billing and plans

> View your current subscription, compare plans, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the ConsentAI billing page inside Shopify admin.

# Manage billing and plans

## What does this do for me?

View your current subscription, compare plan features, switch between monthly and annual billing, upgrade, or cancel — all from inside the app.

## 1. Open the Billing page

Click **Billing** in the ConsentAI navigation or choose **Manage billing** from the settings page.

## 2. Review your current subscription

The **Current subscription** section shows:

* Your current plan name and billing cadence.
* The subscription status badge (**Active** or other).
* The Shopify-approved recurring rate.
* If a lower rate is available, an **Update price** option to approve the replacement.

## 3. Compare plans

ConsentAI offers three plans:

| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Trial |

| **Free** | \$0/mo | — | None |
| **Pro** | \$1.49/mo | \$14.90/yr (2 months free) | 14 days |
| **Advanced** | \$3.49/mo | \$34.90/yr (2 months free) | 14 days |

Toggle between **Monthly** and **Annual (2 months free)** to see pricing.

### Free

Cart consent gate, policy snapshot with Shopify order binding, policy link and messaging, 7-day admin history.

### Pro (adds to Free)

Dynamic, accelerated, and independent product-page gating; 30-day history.

### Advanced (adds to Pro)

Custom CSS, multi-language consent text, unlimited history, and CSV export with integrity verification.

## 4. Upgrade or downgrade

1. Toggle **Monthly** or **Annual** to see the pricing you want.
2. Click **Upgrade** or **Downgrade** on a plan card.
3. For upgrades, Shopify's secure confirmation page opens. Approve to activate.
4. For downgrades to Free, a confirmation modal lists what you lose. Click **Downgrade to Free** to confirm.

After confirming, return to ConsentAI. The **Billing page** shows the updated subscription.

## 5. After a plan change

The banner at the top of the page confirms the change. Premium features on the new plan activate immediately. If Shopify has not yet reported the active charge, a warning banner appears — reload the page rather than starting the upgrade again.
