# Run a readiness audit

> Check your store's agent readiness with an automated seven-check audit and AI-generated remediation.

# Run a readiness audit

## What does this do for me?

The readiness audit checks seven areas of your store to make sure it is ready for agent interactions. It tests Admin API access, your catalog, store policies, payment handlers, the signing key, and both MCP endpoints.

## 1. Open Readiness audits

1. In the AgentLink sidebar, select **Readiness audits**.
2. The page shows your latest audit result (if one exists) and the AI-generated remediation section.

## 2. Run a new audit

1. Select **Run readiness audit**.
2. The audit runs seven checks and produces a percentage score.
3. Findings appear with a label: **Passed**, **Critical**, **High**, **Needs attention**, or **Not checked**.

Checks that could not run (for example, when Admin GraphQL is unavailable) show as **Not checked** and are excluded from the score.

## 3. Review findings

Each finding shows the check name, status, and severity. A score of 90% or higher is **ready**. Scores below 70% trigger a low-readiness alert email to the store contact email.

## 4. Use AI-generated remediation

If the audit finds failures and an OpenAI key is available (saved by you or the platform), the app generates a short remediation plan with a summary and numbered steps.

1. Under **AI-generated remediation**, check the key status.
2. To provide your own OpenAI API key, enter it in the **Your OpenAI API key** field and select **Save key**.
3. To remove your saved key and use the platform-managed key, select **Clear saved key**.

## 5. Re-run after fixing issues

After addressing any findings, run the audit again to confirm your score improves.
