# Get started with AgenticOps

## What does this do for me?

This guide gets your store set up so AgenticOps can review your inventory, store content, and revenue signals, then suggest actions that change nothing until you approve them.

## Install and open the app

Install AgenticOps from the Shopify App Store and open it from your Shopify admin. The app runs inside Shopify admin as an embedded app. When setup is incomplete, a warning banner appears at the top of **Home** that reads **Finish setting up: N of M steps left**, and a **Set up AgenticOps** window opens automatically.

## Work through the setup steps

The setup checklist has five steps that come directly from your saved settings:

1. **Review supervision policies** — confirm which areas of your store the app may act on and set their limits.
2. **Run the first analysis** — review store signals and generate concrete recommendations for you to check.
3. **Approve a recommendation** — review an AI-suggested action and approve one that is appropriate.
4. **Apply a protected change** — apply an approved change after the app saves the current Shopify state.
5. **Complete an undo** — use a saved backup to undo an applied change and confirm the recovery path.

Each step is marked **Done**, **Blocked**, or **To do**. A step is blocked until the previous one is complete. To leave the checklist for later, select **Skip for now**.

## Run your first analysis

On **Home**, select **Run analysis**. The app reviews your store and creates recommendations for you to review. Nothing changes in your store until you approve and apply a change.
