## 1. The service

IDGate Pro ("the app") is provided by Pcnaid Inc. ("Pcnaid" or "we") to Shopify merchants ("you"). The app provides storefront age self-certification, selected-provider government-ID and minimum-age verification, checkout-gating tools where Shopify supports them, Shopify POS verification, customer and verification administration, compliance records, and optional merchant-configured event forwarding. You must have an active Shopify store and authority to install, configure, and use the app.

## 2. Plans, billing, and trials

The Free plan costs $0. Pro costs $2.99 monthly or $29.90 annually. Enterprise costs $9.99 monthly or \$99.90 annually and includes the app's enhanced document- verification entitlement. Features and limits shown in the app remain the controlling description of each plan at the time you subscribe.

A shop's first qualifying, authoritatively active live paid subscription receives one 14-day trial. Test, failed, declined, or abandoned approvals do not consume that live trial. Cancellation, cadence changes, uninstall, reinstall, and later live paid subscriptions do not create another trial while the shop's trial history remains on record.

In short: each shop gets a single 14-day free trial, used by the first live paid subscription that actually becomes active. Trying and abandoning a charge, using a test charge, cancelling, or reinstalling while the shop's trial history remains on record does not use up or reset the trial.

Paid subscriptions are recurring app charges created through Shopify's Billing API at the price and monthly or annual cadence shown before approval. Shopify hosts the confirmation and controls charge collection and billing outcomes. Plan changes can replace or cancel an existing Shopify app subscription under Shopify's billing rules.

## 3. Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for choosing lawful age thresholds and verification settings, determining whether and where age or identity checks are required, providing appropriate notices and obtaining any required consent, configuring your theme and checkout surfaces, reviewing outcomes, handling customer questions, and complying with applicable privacy, biometric, identity-verification, accessibility, consumer-protection, and regulated- product laws. Do not use the app for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized activity.

## 4. Verification limitations

Simple self-certification relies on information entered by the shopper and is not a government-ID check. Enhanced results depend on Didit, or Stripe Identity when that rollback provider is selected, and on the documents and information submitted to the provider. A result supports an age-gating decision but does not establish every aspect of identity, eligibility, legality, or intent.

The theme cart interlock applies only to recognized cart controls. Shopify's native checkout-blocking extension is the enforcing boundary only on stores and plans where Shopify makes that capability available. You are responsible for confirming that every required app block and extension is installed, enabled, and tested for your sales channels and checkout paths.

## 5. Data and privacy

The [Privacy Policy](https://docs.pcnaid.com/nodes/shopify/age-verification/merchant/help/privacy.md) describes the data IDGate Pro processes, its identity providers, retention and deletion behavior, and Shopify privacy-request handling. You are responsible for your own storefront privacy notices and for initiating Shopify privacy requests when appropriate.

## 6. Availability and third-party services

The app relies on Shopify, Azure, the selected identity provider, and other operational service providers. Network failures, provider outages, invalid credentials, Shopify API limitations, merchant configuration, or unsupported checkout paths can delay or prevent operation. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law or platform requirements, or improve the service.

## 7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the app by cancelling paid service where applicable and uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, or violation of Shopify's policies. The Privacy Policy explains the implemented uninstall retention window and the deletion paths for customer and shop records.

## 8. Disclaimers and liability

IDGate Pro is a technical tool, not legal advice or a substitute for your compliance review. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without implied warranties, and Pcnaid Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or lost profits arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

## 9. Changes and contact

Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page.
