# Manage Customer Privacy Requests

## What does this do for me?

When a customer asks about their data, Shopify sends a data request to Abandoned Cart Pro on your behalf. This page lets you download each prepared JSON export and hand it to the customer through your own privacy-response process.

## Before you begin

The **Customer privacy requests** page requires the Shopify store account owner.

## 1. Open the page

1. Open **Support** in Abandoned Cart Pro.
2. Select **Customer privacy requests**, or open the page directly from Support.

## 2. Review prepared exports

Each row shows the **Request** ID, the **Customer**, when it was **Received**, its **Status** (**Ready**, **Downloaded**, or **Unable to identify**), and an **Export** action.

## 3. Download an export

1. Select **Download JSON** on a ready request.
2. The file downloads to your computer. The status becomes **Downloaded**.

If a request is marked **Unable to identify**, the app could not match the customer unambiguously; select **Contact support** to review it.
