# Configure Recovery Coupons

> Automatically apply a percent or fixed recovery discount to draft orders created from abandoned checkouts.

# Configure Recovery Coupons

## What does this do for me?

Recovery coupons apply a discount automatically to draft orders created from abandoned checkouts, giving shoppers a nudge to complete the sale.

## Before you begin

Recovery coupons require the **Pro \$4.99** plan. Saving them requires the account owner.

## 1. Open the coupon settings

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Scroll to **Recovery coupons**.

## 2. Configure the coupon

1. Tick **Enable recovery coupons**.
2. Choose **Coupon type** - **Percent off** or **Fixed amount off**.
3. Set the value in the **Percent off** or **Fixed amount off** field.
4. Optionally set a **Minimum subtotal (optional)**.
5. Set **Apply from step** to control which reminder step first carries the coupon.
6. Set a **Code prefix** (default `RECOVER`).
7. Select **Save coupon settings**.

The banner confirms "Recovery coupon saved." or "Recovery coupons disabled."
