> Activate the web pixel so Abandoned Cart Pro can track cart and checkout events on your storefront.

# Activate Storefront Tracking

## What does this do for me?

The web pixel lets Abandoned Cart Pro track cart and checkout events on your storefront. Activating it is one of the two Home setup steps.

## Before you begin

Pixel activation requires the Shopify store account owner.

## 1. Activate the pixel

1. Open **Settings** in Abandoned Cart Pro.
2. Select **Activate web pixel**.
3. The app confirms: "Web pixel activated. Abandoned Cart Pro is now tracking cart and checkout events on your storefront."

## 2. Link it to your custom domain

The app reads your store's `myshopify.com` domain and primary domain so recovery links point at your storefront. These are refreshed when your store domain changes.

## 3. Confirm the step is done

Return to **Home**. The **Connect the web pixel** setup step is marked done once the pixel is connected and the owner has saved the activation.
