# Endpoint access FAQ

## What is an endpoint?

An endpoint is a specific address the Hub uses to connect people or AI tools to a group of approved MCP servers.

## Why are there group endpoints?

Group endpoints keep access controlled. A finance workflow, support workflow, and developer workflow should not all see the same tools by default.

## Who decides access?

Your technical owner or Pcnaid support partner should map users to groups before production use.
